Quick answers before you jump in.

How long before I need to touch the game again?

Set a zone you can clear, close the tab, and claim later. A few hours is the usual cycle. Overnight works if the map does not wipe you. You are not expected to sit in combat.

Do I need the Android app?

No. The browser is enough to start. The Play Store build is for people who want an icon and fewer browser chrome. Same account, same servers, same bag.

What actually happens after I register?

You make a character, pick a class, and send it into a map. The first session is gearing enough that you can leave it running. Rankings and guilds wait until that loop feels boring in a good way.

Is anything locked behind a download?

Combat, rankings, and the item list are on the site. The Windows client is optional. Gift codes and support tickets need an account, not an installer.
